Horsepower From 2001 HD F-150

I was wondering if anyone could help me in choosing the best stuff to make the most power out of my truck without supercharging because i am afraid of hurting my motor if i supercharge it. I wanted to know what would help me get the the most horsepower increase.

The 2001 HD n/a engine is the same as any other regular 5.4 engine.
Whatever works on them will work on yours too.
A lot of people on here (me included) have gone for a package (CAI+Tuner etc) from Troyer Performance. You can find their details in the Chips section.
You needn't be afraid of Supercharging your engine. If it's done correctly and the tune is safe, things should be ok.
A centrifugal type blower is probably the easier route to go as it comes as a complete kit and doesn't require changing the inlet manifold etc.
Again, Mike Troyer will be able to point you in the right direction.

Good luck
