I jus wanted to know if there is a problem somewhere else in the connection or if I just needed a new rear brake light. The brake light does not come on when I step on the brake and the signal blinker doesn't come work on that same side. The lamp does illuminate when the lights come on but it turns off when i step on the brakes. Also the blinker in the cabin for the right turn signal blinks at a much faster pace than the left one. Is it becuz my the lamp is broken and its telling me this or does the blinker module need to be replaced too??

I would start with the bulb, they are cheaper and you can look at the bulb to see if the ellement is burned out.
