OEM 2006 Harley Davidson Headlights

Placed an order today for the 2006 Harley Davidson Headlights through Tim at Signature Lincoln Mercury in Las Vegas. He says that they are the black ones. Will let you know when i get them - says he should be shipping them next week. Glad i waited and didn't order off of Ebay - more expensive, but not that much more.

How much more expensive? I've been on the fence about ordering the Depo's on eBay. Partly because of quality, partly not sure if they'll look good on a Wedgewood XLT. Pretty sure they'll look good with the black grill, but not sure with the chrome bumper. Haven't seen any pics with them on the Wedgewoods yet.

Would you happen to have the part numbers for the OEM Headlights that you ordered? I'd much rather have OEM than the ones on Ebay and have been waiting for them to be available. Thanks!

Just called a local dealer here in Pittsburgh - $197 EACH. At that price, I'll go with the Depos.

Here's the one thing keeping me from ordering the Depos. I've got a 95 Accord with Depo corners. (I know, I know...Honda...trust me it's not riced out) Anyhow the corners had condensation issues in the first week I got em. I get dew every night here, so it's a legit concern I think. Sealed em up and no problems since. I've only seen one post here complaining about condensation, app he had to send it back (pay the shipping). So $190 off eBay, say $20 to ship it back. Or 240 + tax from Ford and and they're OEM. I'm prob being over ****, but I was thinking the extra cash was worth it. Guess Depos will suffice.

That was me. Got the new one and sealed them both up before reinstalling and no problems so far. I have a hook up thru Ford so Iam going to see what he can do for me on OEM. Don't get me wrong, nothing wrong with my Depo's, but would perfur OEM.

While on the subject of harley parts, anyone got the numbers for the grill? Would like to get that with the lights. Thanks for the part numbers! Its worth the extra cash for peace of mind IMHO...

plunds01,

Thanks for the part number. Called my parts guy and got a quote for $120ish. Seemed low to me though, that would come with the painted surround right? Anyhow do you have any other part numbers to share? I was looking at the pics on fords site and really would like to get ahold of the pedals and some of the other interior trim. Any other info you could pass along would be great, Thanks again!

Later,

Luis S

I decided to just go with the Depos. I'll cross my fingers and use the extra cash for sealant and a K&N.

Going to order mine next. Was told they would be in in about 3 days. You have no problems with the Depos scorpio333. Just seal them before installing and you should be all right. Mine has not leaked since.

I was wondering about the grill as well, haven't been able to find out if it comes painted or not, but I was quoted around the same price which seems cheap to me. I don't have any other part numbers to share just yet, but am still trying to find a few more....now if some of the HD 22's will hit ebay soon that would be great!
