Question Are the HD's worth the money?

This is my first post to this site. I loved the HD the first time I saw it with the black/silver paint job a few years back. I was actually searching for an '03/'04 cobra and I happened to come across two '03 HD's in my town and I'm really itching to check them out.

I'm having a really hard time finding out any real info on the '03 HD's. Can you guys help me out? Here's a few questions I have...

Are the '03 HD's 4x2 or 4x4?

What's the gas mileage?

What are the differences between the HD and regular models (excluding supercharger and rims)?

Is it worth getting?

Thanks

Hi PJ, welcome to F150online.

To answer your questions,

1. The HD is 2WD.

2. I get about 15mpg from my 2003 driving "normally"

3. There is little difference between a Supercrew and an HD apart from the obvious Supercharged engine, 20" wheels and all the Harley Bling.

Is it worth getting? Absolutely Best looking truck out there IMO.

The main difference besides the two obvious ones is the leather interior. Other than that pretty much the same vehicle.

i get around 14 mpg now having mods that total up to around 400 rwhp and 500 rwtq. Stock i got 16 mpg.

Man, all i can tell ya is these trucks are head turners for all aged people, and that is no lie. The differences include: grille, 2-tone paint option, 20" rims, lowered stance from the factory, 130 mph speedometer cluster, 2-tone seats, harley badging throughout the truck, harley windshield (has harley logo on bottom of windshield), chrome gear shifter and turn signal, Harley VIN plate in console, harley bed mat, different front bumper, supercharged motor, 4 bucket seats, heavy duty transmission.... other than these things, you could get a loaded supercrew with the rest of the things a harley has.

fact is, if you are wanting all out speed and good looks, get an 03-04 cobra. If you are wanting all out style and good speed, get a harley. BTW, a cobra will get 20+ mpg. Good luck man!
