Looking into buying an HD F150

And I have some questions.

Firstly, I know that the 02s and 03s are the supercharged ones. But how much does it cost to supercharge a non supercharged engine, and how does the performance compare to the stock supercharged engines(in the HDs and Lightnings)?

Secondly, how much does it take to get a supercharged HD to be faster than a Lightning? I know about the pulley thing, but its still not quite up to the same specs, plus there's a alrge size difference. So how much more does it cost to beat the Lightnings?

1. contact Mike of Madenterprises for cost estimates on converting a non-s/c HD:

2. HD needs to loose around 500-600 lbs. Engine internals also need to be beefed up so that when you start modding, it will hold up. Contact MRBLUEOVAL @ NHTOC, he's had some success:

Good luck.

The Harley Davidson F-150 is actually just a detuned Lightning. Same engine and blower just the HD's are programmed a little differant.

HD truck only got 6lbs of boost, whereas the L got 8lbs from the factory.
And the exhaust is different. (longer path on the HD)
