New to this Truck forum.

Hi gang,

I have known of this site since I bought my used 2001 F150 HD last October.
My truck has about 40k miles and runs good.
At this time I don't have any mods, a friend works at Pacesetter and he ordered me a set of long tube headers so I should be getting them soon but that's it other then the receiver hitch and brake controller I installed about 7 months ago.

I also ordered the Y pipe because even though the Harley exhaust is pretty good sounding I will get the Corsa Cat Back because I know how nice they are.
FWIW, I have the Corsa Cat back for my Pontiac Grand Prix and they do what everyone wants, you will get the full performance available but they won't drone or resonate in the cabin. http://www.corsaperf.com/autohome.htm

Most of you might not be aware of Corsa because they are a GM certified exhaust systemthat finally got their buts in gear and built a system for a Ford, I think they will have one for the Mustang pretty soon.

The only reason I posted so much information about this exhaust is because I have seen so much talk about exhaust droning and resonating..

Does anyone on this forum live in AZ?

I would like to get some information about under the hood mods, airbag suspension products etc so I'll start hanging around a bit and try to get some tips from you.

FWIW, I own a 1998 Pontiac Grand Prix GTP and have been in forums & clubs for years, I drag race the Pontiac with the local car club etc. I am the founder of the Portland chaptor of the Grand Prix club and I am currently one of the admins for the AZ Club Grand Prix site etc.. My screen name i the Pontiac world is PDXGTP.
-What I'm saying is that I have been on the forums for years.

Anyway, that's enough for now.

Later,

Thomas

I asked the people at Corsaperformance and this was their reply

We do not currently manufacture an exhaust for your 2002 HD F150 truck. The HD truck is different than the regular production F150. Thanks Jeff
