I have a Harley Davidson F-150 w/ a K&N Intake, I want to put headers on, can anyone tell me where i should be looking? Also if anyone has more simple ideas for HP gains let me know

Hey Max, as far as the chip/tuner goes, what are the best to look into? Any other relatively simple and inexpensive ways to get more power? Pulley swap?

 

Welcome and hey back. Since yours is the supercharged version, the increased boost from a pulley swap with a matching tune will yield a huge improvement for little effort and money. You can get a tuner with several tunes. You can benefit greatly in stock trim, then load an increased boost tune when you upgrade your pulley and plugs. Depending on boost levels, a K&N drop in filter or a complete air intake kit is also generally recommended. If you look in the supporting vendor area, it lists the vendors experienced in tuning Lightnings/Harleys. The Lightning area of the board also discusses this topic frequently.

Here is what I plan on buying right away.

K&N Intake, computer tuner (diablo?), throttle body, quick swap lower pulley at 6#, idler pulleys and spark plugs. After a fairly quick search I found this to be an inexpensive upgrade for some serious power. Is there anything I am missing, anything that doesn't need to be there or am I on the right track.
