2006 Harley Davidson......

I really, really like the new HD....but.....WHY IS IT NOT SUPERCHARGED......such a disappointment. I'm hoping that Ford is just trying to figure out how to supercharge the new 3V 5.4 and they are just making us patiently wait....

Yeah, I was a little disappointed especially with Chevy's SS and the Dodge Hemi putting out 345 hp.

When the first harley trucks came out they didn't have superchargers and where just extended cabs, maybe that is what ford is doing again???? Either way, I want some of those damn headlights!

Considering the fact that I saw waaaaaaaaaaaaaaay more SuperCrew Harley's than I ever did extended-cab Harleys; I don't know why Ford is piece-mealing them out by starting with the SuperCab.

Same goes for the base engine..

Were I in the market, I'd wait for the supercharged, SuperCrew.

If they bring the Lightning back, they need to make it available in regular cab and SuperCab configurations. Not that the L wasn't selling, but it will cross over the "impractical" barrier and into more driveways.

Just maybe the reason you saw more Crews was Ford only made the SC the first year, 2000. The numbers were only like 8000 to 9000 (not sure), but they all sold. I had the original HD myself, and only sold it to get the Lightning. It's a matter of personal taste, but I never liked the Crew HDs over the SC. If Ford would have supercharged the SC, I would have bought that instead of the L.

How cheap?

What do you guys think the sticker price will be since it's only an extra cab and isn't supercharged? I'm thinking it's gonna have a low price. What is your ballpark guess of what sticker will be?

I'll throw out a guess of $39995 for the 2wd and 42995 for the Awd.

For an extended cab HD, with no SC- I wouldn't expect them to be over $36,995.00.

Ford's are over-priced- but great trucks.
