suspension differences from plain ole supercrew?

i know that the harley edition uses a 1/2" lower front coil, but what about the back? i wouldnt mind just using something in rear of my 01SC to kinda even things out without losing hauling capacity....theHD versions i've seen on the road look pretty level front to rear. any input? thanks.

IIRC, the HDs are lowered 1 inch (front & rear) from the factory vs. regular 'screws. To eliminate the rake, most HD owners I know drop the rear (via shackles) at least 2 more inches to even the rear with the front. This is what I did, kept my front stock and used shackles to lower my rear.

Others have gone lower (3" front & 4" rear), check this out for more:

Hey nogojo31, if you are interested in the "whole" Harley Lowering Kit it's not terrible expensive. Here is the part number and other info if you are interested. I was going to go that route but found a deal I couldn't pass up on the Hotchkis Lowering Kit (little bit lower than the HD Kit).

M-3000-L Lowering Kit F150 Super Crew Harley Davidson

Online Price: $132.00

This kit lowers all 1999-01 F-150 Lightning/Harley-Davidson models 30mm (1.181 inch) in all four corners. A simple front coil/jounce bumper replacement and rear shackle replacement is all that is necessary to enhance positive control. Both vehicles retain very good ride/launch characteristics.
