Lifting it. Need Help.

Hey I plan on lifting my 02 HD F150.

I want to do about an 8-9 inch lift on 39.5 inch tires on the Harley rims. Going with the CST or RCD or Fabtech lift and dual Fox w/resivors. I think I will have all components chromed to match the chrome pieces on the truck. Any other ideas or sugestions?

ANY pics of any other lifted HD F150's?

Thanks!

I am not joking... I plan to lift my HD F150. And for now I am doing it on the stock HD rims. I dont plan on offroading it on these. Its more for looks than anything else.

for starters, 38 inch tires are pushing the absolute limit on IFS, 2wd or 4wd. When going for tires that big, ball joints on our trucks have trouble handling them. If you want a reliable rig you can get custom uper and lower a arms with i think they are called uni-joints, but are what the big gunn pre runners use. And yes, they can eat ball joints without offroading. Another is that 9 inches of lift wouldnt cut it. I sorry if what i said was scattered, i am way too tired to be awake.

I'd stick with a 35 inch tire. Nitto, Toyo and BFG all make all terrian tires for 20 inch rims. But please, keep all the OEM part so it can easily be restored. The Harley trucks will probably be pretty valuable one day.
