Just wondering what stock horsepower is on a 2002 Harley.

Any ideas?

So it's close to the Lightning then.

There really isn't any difference between a lightning motor and a harley davidson motor. The only reason they had 20 less hp than the 99-00 lightnings was because they had less boost. That can be solved real easy by changing out the blower pulley. Now i'm not really sure about the difference between the harley and the 01-up lightnings unless the harley's dont' have the 90mm mass air???? I'll find out by the end of the day and let ya know if no one else has.

99-00L : 360hp
01-04L : 380hp

00-01HD : 260hp
02-03HD : 340hp

the 02-03 HD truck has a bigger upper pulley (only 6lbs of boost stock), different exhaust, and different computer programming.

 

Well, my choices are between a 2001 Lightning or a 2002 Harley Davidson.

My friend wants me to get an L but the HD would be nice for carrying compacity plus I have some contact for some sweet Mobile Entertainment equipment I wouldn't mind throwing in there.

I will have to see.

 

You cant go wrong either way. But If I were you, I would get the harley.
