Fog Lights

I JUST PURCHASED A HARLEY DAVIDSON VALANCE FOR MY 02 SUPERCREW; HOWEVER IT DID NOT COME WITH THE FOG LIGHTS. I BELIEVE THE OPENINGS ARE FOR A 4" DIAMETER LIGHT BUT I AM NOT SURE. I WAS WONDERING IF ANYONE KNEW IF THEY MADE AN AFTERMARKET LIGHT TO FIT AND EXACTLY WHAT SIZE TO MAYBE LOOK FOR.

THANKS FOR ANY HELP SOMEONE MIGHT COULD GIVE.

GARRETT FOSTER

You can get the HD fog lights from your local FORD dealer. The lights come in the housing and you just have to bolt them on. They run around $200 per light.

Not sure how much he may be able to save you but, I'd check with www.fordpartsnetwork.com if you're extremely serious. Email torrie@fordpartsnetwork.com to see what he can do for you. Mention that Rockpick sent ya... it might help out on shipping or something... who knows.

I used Pilot Navigator NV-603s in mine. They fit fine. You will need to fab a bracket. I was able to take a piece of straight stock and drill a coulple of holes for mounting. I did use some 'creative' spacing, but it only took an hour or so to complete.

The lights fit in the HD valence openings exactly. ($50 or so for the pair).

wiring

how did you wire them? Did you use your existing wiring for the lights or a kit that came with it? I would really like to use something that will work with the pre-existing wiring.

thx,

I have them wired to the parking light circuit right now. I am not the best wiring person but I have a relay, one terminal to the fogs, one to the battery, one to ground and one to switched power.

It was too cold to spend time fishing wires into the cab, so I took the lazy route and taped into the parking light on the passenger side. At some point I will probably add a switch inside the cab...

I went to autozone and picked up some glo-lights with a 4" diameter which fit perfect. It somes with brackets and wiring which is very easy to hook up The brackets need minor adjustment to secure and works great. the cost was around 49.99...
