Just got an 03 HD and am wondering about the stock shift points. When I am easy on the pedal it shifts from 1st to 2nd and then within a few hundred rpm it shifts into 3rd. The 2nd to 3rd shift is around 1300-1400rpm. It seems low to me. Does the computer learn to shift over time or is this normal. I am accustomed to a manual 5.0 mustang and I always like to shift around 2000 rpm. The HD seems to be shifting at too low an rpm. What's your experience?
