Hey, I have another question. Do you think I did any damage to my engine using 87 fuel in my 2002 HD that I purchased 3 weeks ago? Thanks.

If you did not hear any pinging and where running in fairly cool weather and you were light on the peddle you should be OK.
The type of damage tends to be the one you notice. Just for your info the first tank of gas in these truck was 87 octane from the Kansas City factory (They only have one type of fuel).

Thanks for answering my questions. I was getting paranoid! I didn't read the manuel or looked at the gas gauge and saw right next to the gas gauge, the label saying to use premium fuel only. I haven't heard any pinging noise's at all so I'm good to go. Thank you again!
