The 03' lightning has a re-valved steering gear box for improved steering. Did the 03' harley davidson also receive the re-valved steering gear box? If so, was it in the 03' crewcab version only ( or is there only a crewcab version in 03'?)

There is only a crewcab for 2003. I have not heard of any upgrade of that sort for this year but maybe we don't know something we should...

I found an 03' Harley Edition steering gear box for only $145. Would like to try the re-valved steering gear box that at least, the Lightning got I was hoping the Harley got the re-valved version as well, since it was factory supercharged. I need a better "on center" feel in my 99' f150.

 

None of the HD guys who traded their 02 for an 03 have talked about the steering, but I do know that the part number for the 2003 Lightning box does not cross with any other model.

BTW: Here are the different years on body styles of HD trucks.
