Sluggish Tranny
I have a 2002 Harley F-150. One day while creeping along at a stop light (while covering the brake) the truck lurched forward and the radio (stock) volume went all the way up and then went back to normal all in about a seconds time. Lately I have also noticed the tranny is somewhat sluggish at times. So I took it to the dealer, they said it was normal and they could not find any evidence on the trucks computer of any malfunctions. Now I will tell you that I have a superchip installed and worried about them finding it. They never said anything to me about my superchip. Wouldn't they have to remove or at least see it for the computer to be checked? Has anyone ever experienced similar problems? Has anyone used the Diablo tranny valve? This may be my next step.
The Lightning has the same tranny - so I'd suggest talking to Gregg Evans on NLOC.net .
If your chip raises line pressure for 'quicker shifts' ; it will cause problems eventually. Do your tranny a favor and purchase this **** kit; it will be much more fun to drive AND save the life of your tranny.

Buy the FTVB from Gregg and buy the new Moroso trans pan - it's superior to the 4x4 pan (part no. 42050): http://www.moroso.com/html/html_disp...ightningad.htm
You need to start spending time at the National Harley Truck Owners Club site, you'll pick up lots of good info, and probably want to join! http://www.nhtoc.com/forum/

I agree with all the previous post, FTVB is the thing to do instead of having your chip control the shift.
Due to the radio issue your problem might be electrical. the transmission has electrical components (i.e. Overdrive). I read in a previous post that someone had problems with sluggish transmission and it was due to a blown fuse.
Happy hunting!
