Cool Harley Number-Help

Help! I bought my 2000 HD F150 new in November of 2000. I got a Black Sweater for having to wait 7 months for the bed cover. Never did get anything about what number my truck was in the run. Sticker on door says built in October 2000. Sticker on engine says October 4, 2000. I beleive this late in the run. Anyone have a number, that is close to that build date. Any help would be appreciated. Truck has 35,000 miles on it with no trouble.

i know there was a post a while back about build #'s for a 00 HD who didn't get the owners plaque. I think they had an october build also, and somebody else here posted what # their truck was, which was an october build also, so the guy had a rough idea of his truck #. maybe do a search?

Mine was built may18th and is #356, not that it helps you out any

This won't help a whole lot but mine was built Sep 11,2000 & the # is 5951. Help narrow it down a little for you.
At this time mine has 5000 miles.

Production Number

Hey Harley 356: I looked up the post your were talking about. Yes it looks like mine was fairly late in the run. The window sticker indicates that the dealership ordered the truck on September 29, 2000. There are some codes stamped on the transmission and a few othe parts. The last few numbers on the vin code are cb 17483. I think they had already started the 2001 run of f150 by October 2000. I will check the tranny label etc this weekend. Thanks JLM

Your vin # has nothing directly to do with the build #.
The vin # accounts for ALL the f150's rolling out of that plant, not just the HD's.

Ford only built 8197 HD's in 2000. My truck is number 356. My vin ends in 89886. Doesn't make sense with either if it went by the vin
