...the rear center console in a 02' HD? I can only find 6 screws, but even if I take all 6 out its still bolted down from inside somewhere. Any one know?

I am weighing my options of putting in a sub box in that space, thats why I need to remove it.

there are two screws on the outside of the shell. take those out. pull out the liner on the inside and there are more screws. take out those 4 and take out the screws to the lid. Once you have those out you can take the outer shell and the first inner shell out.

Underneath, you'll find a hard shell. There are two screws inside the silo posts. Take a flashlight if necessary to look into the silos. You'll see small hex head bolts.

I got it out and labeled everything so I can put it back. I'll post pics of my custom box when I am done, should look pretty cool.

I made my own sub enclosure ... houses a high quality JL-Audio 8" sub. I'm running 150w at 2ohms... plenty of sound for my kind of music...
