the title pretty much says it. Since I looked for a long time for my truck and finally got a 1998 F-150 it in August... I was pretty interested in your search for a good 1997 or 1998 F-150 for a daily driver, and you never mentioned in the thread about it if you found one or got one. I don't mean to butt in on your business... but was wondering if you have made any progress on the search.

 

Nothing yet, not really looking at this moment. Just doing my research a few months in advance so i know what i'll be looking for.

I will be either getting the truck in late june, or sometime in august.

Right now though the HD is taking up most of my time and money

I have decided on a 97/98 4.6L V8, any trans, any cab, must be short bed, can be either flare or styleside, must be 2wd.

I've got alot planned for that truck, more than i first intended, but want to take care of the HD 1st before i get another truck. Hopefully i'll get the daily driver in late june though sometime.

My sisters husband owns 3 used car lots over in PA, so all i have to do is tell him what i want, and he'll find me a deal on a good truck.

So far the definate mods for the truck is
-Lightning heads/corners
-LED 3rd
-Either Lighning bumper and Lightning grille, OR harley bumper and harley grille. not sure which yet. Depends on the color truck i get
-3/5 drop
-magnaflow exhaust
-mac intake
-bilstein shocks
-20's a little later down the line
-soft tonneau

ALot of stuff, but i can get all OEM ford stuff for super cheap, so all i really have to worry about buying is the drop, exhaust, intake, and 20's
