What ive noticed after 2 days of this on my truck and cured, it just gets deeper. Im going to add a #3 and 4 coat this week, then finish off with the Crystal Mist spray... BTW, the CM is the best QD Spray i have ever used. No streaks and adds a light layer of carnuba. A lot of people were impressed with it at the FFF show as well as Mr. Coletti.

 

Thanks for the pics. it looks really nice. This past weekend I finally saw a black truck with Cherry Wet Wax and it was really nice and all but it didn't "blow away" Zaino like some people insist. So that put to rest my curiousity about CWW but this Pinnacle stuff I will definitely have to try.

Do you buy it direct from Pinnacle or elsewhere ???

You have to prep it though. Do you have a buffer like a Porter Cable or a High Speed?

Get a bottle of 3M Swirl Mark Remover for Dark
Get a bottle of 3M Finesse It 2

Decide if you want to get the Piinnacle kit i got which includes the shampoo, claybard, clay spray, crystal mist detail spray, cleansing lotion, Souveran Wax 8 oz jar applicators, mf towels amd something else. Cost me $139 for the kit.

If you dont want the kit, at least get the Cleansing lotion and the Souveran Wax. Do not get the Liquid Souveran as it wont add depth on each layer. Im sure you zaino often, so it wont be any different with the souveran paste. It gets better with each coat. Im doing coats 3 and 4 this week.

 

On a scale of 1-10 where would you put Zaino and Pinnacle. As far as depth and gloss goes ???


The other parts I do have covered. I use a Milwaukee variable speed with 3M foam pads. Finesse-It II machine polish followed by Swirl Mark remover on a black foam pad. Not even a c*** hair of a swirl on my truck

 

Excellent on your choice of products, your end result will be as stunning as mine.

As far as comparing Zaino to Pinnacle, i give the Zaino a 6. It just looks to much like plastic and doesnt allow the black paint to deepin or liquify. Zaino is excellent on light colors, but carnuba takes the cake on darks like black, red and blue.Keep in mind ive been a zaino user for almost 4 years.
