Okay y'all... need a little input... my 82 year old father in law looked at the HD yesterday and wants one... what he really wants is the four seat capacity and doors... which means he could easily buy F150 supercab and be happy... but he drove it yesterday and likes it.

What I want to know is he going to be challenged at stop lights... harassed by kids or over grown kids in anyway... what is the theft like (I.E. is the HD a target/magnet?).

He's not a motor head but I gotta admit... that thing sure drive nice!!!

Any concern about the 2005 dropping the resale value of this thing (knowing that there won't be a 2004)?

Just need your general comments...

 

driving a 03 HD he'll probably get challenges all the time

anyway, who said there will be no 04? as of now its VERY likely there will be one, and the most reliable rumor is that its gonna be a superduty.

I say don't worry about the resale, its a HD so it'll still be pretty good, and just get whatever ya want. you or he won't regret it

Nother thought... does he have to run 93 octane like in my Lightning or can he get by with the middle grade?
