Light Switch Mods

I've seen a lot of previous message traffic about modifying the HD light switch (some internal, some external w/ separate toggle switch) in order to select fog lights in positions other than manual lights. So far I have not tried any of the suggested mods. While driving my wife's '03 TC the other day, I noticed the light switch is like the HD, but you can pull it out in any position for the fog lights. Anyone know if this switch might be a direct replacement? Thanks.

Hard to say. Try pulling the switch out and pulling yours out. Check to see if the connectors are the same (I doubt they are as the electrical systems are different).

I wouldn't plug it in if I were you until I was 200% sure that they were IDENTICAL.

Just do the fog light mod. It'll save you some heartburn.

I knew this was here... did anyone figure this out!? I had a client ask me this EXACT question today... He knows I'm a truck buff and thought I might know...

Anyone know for sure?

I'd sure like to know. I'd spend the bucks for the switch instead of hacking the original and putting splices in.
