6# pulley set up

Anyone running a L 6# pulley on the HD truck, can you tell me what length belt it takes. That would be a 4# on the HD. Thanks

Nobody is running a 6# pulley setup on an HD???????? Whats up with that. I have been running my L for over a year with a true 6# pulley and I drive it everyday.

I have a #6 pulley on my HD (for now). I checked my notes and Mike from Perf Prod said he shipped me a 67" Goodyear belt (part # 4080670) with it. That belt was short enough on my truck that I had to remove the stopper tab on the tensioner to get it on. Might be better with a 67.5". I am changing to an #8 soon with a 69.5" belt. What chip are you using on the 6# Lightning?

Terry

Thanks very much Terry, I've been working a lot of overtime lately so I have not been online much. To answer your question I use my own chip, It's a Diablo Delta chip with 2 programs on it. Running in the 12.30's with a 2001 L.

Thanks again.

For anyone that may need to know later on, the 68.5" is the perfect size for the HD with a 6# lower pulley.
