Hi Guys


I'm new to board and I need HELP! I've got my light switch modded to use the fogs in park and auto mode but I was told that the wiring was different on 2002. I have # 5 and #12 spiced together and the fogs work all the time! Will not shut off. What wires do I spice so that the fogs will turn off when I push in the swith in.

I just spiced #2 and #12 and it blew #27 fog light fuse. Any ideas?

I have not done mine. But I think you need to put a switch between the wires to turn the fogs on and off.

Just keep on trying different wires until you get the right one.

yeah, i did the splicing of 5 and 12 and threw a switch in the wire splicing those so i can turn it on or off. not sure on your 02, but did you modify the switch also?

Not sure what you mean by all the time. Splicing the 5 and 12 will turn them on with parklamps and headlamps but off when you turn the headlights off.

You can either wire a toggle switch in to override them being on when you don't want them on. I want mine on anytime my light are on so it worked for me. You can also do the mod where you file down the switch to you can pull it out with the parklamps.
