Steering column gauge question.....

What exactly does the gauge pod hide/interfere with on the HD's dash..... tach, speedo, gear selector, etc.? Pics would be great.

Thanks,
Sean

Sfoltz,

The only thing that it interferes with is the odometer, you can clearly see everything else. However, the one I have sits to the left side of the steering wheel.

Cheers

The Autometer pod looks alot like that one but the gauge is on the other side. It looks really good. I am ordering mine soon. Summit has a picture of it on their website.

that one posted doesn't even do that...mostly just blocks the tach.
they do make 2 different pods for the F150 though, for either the left or right side. i'll have to look for the left side one and post a pic for ya

Thanks guys, I like it better than the A-pillar pods but I don't like the idea of it blocking ANYTHING!! I guess I'm weird like that..... but I need to see everything clearly, even if it only blocks the gear selector.

I'm a dork.....

Thanks again,
Sean

Josh I know you have a pic of one on the left

EDIT: well looks like GRY GHST beat you to it Josh!!

Don't feel like a dork. I don't like either one of them, so I must be a dork too. I have considered mounting my gauges in the cubby hole below the build plaque, but they would be hard to monitor there.
I must be a dork, because I don't think the autometer gauges match our trucks very well either...

N2TRUX, the Autometer Ultra-Lites are silver just like the stock HD gauges so they don't look to bad. Only problem is that I don't know where I want to mount the boost gauge?? Why didn't Ford put a boost gauge in the HD like they did with the L??

Oh well....

Ya, we didn't we get an inaccurate gauge in our trucks too! We'd still be putting in aftermarket boost gauges.. hehe
