OT: Trip to the dyno... 476 rwhp!

...on my '93 coupe. Had you goin'!!!
It had dyno'ed at 429/408 with cats and a very conservative tune (a/f 10.5:1) previously. Now with the Dr. Gas o/r x and a hotter tune (a/f 11.6:1) it made 476 rwhp/449 rwtq SAE corrected on a new Dynojet 248c. New slicks, new clutch/pp, new Eaton posi/31 spine axles (all so I can launch at 6000 rpm )--can't wait for FFW at Baytown! Hoping for low, low 11's--maybe with a great track and great air it might just hit 10.xxx. Now that would be cool!

It's usually about 3-5/10's... air density varies a lot up here. Best I've ever ran in was 1000 ft density air--worst was 6600 . You're right, I got to get off my *** (or get away from work) and learn to use my digital camera and how to post the damned pics. I am the last of the computer-illiterate generation.

BTW--One of my buddies with a bone-stock '03 Z06 pulled 352... another with a bone-stock '03 Cobra made 362.

GT40... did you notice the NMRA has scheduled an event at Ennis in May? Might have to make that one... if it doesn't interfere with FFW Baytown.

Yelp and I am glad to see that. Don't they know that the bigboys live in Texas.

Actually it was a last minute deal--a meeting I was supposed to be in Friday afternoon got cancelled and I just drove over to Odessa from the office... called them up on the cell phone and got an appointment. I still plan to go back in the next few days and see what the a/f looks like on the 12 lb pulley (10 now). Will try to plan ahead this time and let you know...
