Making the rear console into a beverage cooler

I've been thinking about making the rear console in my 2002 HD into a beverage cooler. Any ideas? Do they make an insulated soft side cooler that will fit? Any other ideas?

go look at the igloo electronic refrigerators... there is a fan and a mechanism to withdraw heat. I have one and it is amazing. IF there was some way to disassemble that unit and put that contraption in your rear console, you would have an awesome ice chest with no ice needed...

check out the plentikool. It keeps my beverages and stuff near freezing.

get some kind of thermal wrap or something from lowes or home depot.... remove the console, flip it over, and wrap the plastic tub... Might consider drilling a small hole in the bottom and put some sort of nipple on it and run a small tube through the floorboard to allow it to drain.

email Robsmst (sp?). he hooked up some kind of sharper image fridge in his 01 HD. he was just about ready to do something with a deep cycle battery under the frame for it before he had to sell his truck. he's on here every once in a while though, but not sure if he'll see this post. look up his profile and drop him a line though, i'm sure might be able to help ya out some
