Should be going out around 9 or so. When the HALO guys decide what time, I'll let you know...

they have 4 or 5 going which is good cause we'll have plenty of people to watch stuff so it doesn't get stolen while we run...

Make sure you break those in good put them on and do atleast a 10 sec. burnout and I always like to drive on them before I take them to the track.

Can't wait to see the result. I am guessing a 13.001

I bet you unseat me at #2. I am going to the track too if it warms up alittle this weekend.

I'm still only running that 6lb so I think a very low 12's is about as good as it's going to get for me this weekend. Who knows, though... it might happen...

I'm guessing a 13.2x or 13.1x if I am lucky as hell...

I already had a 1.92 60' on stock tires, so I suspect 1.8x, maybe even 1.80 is possible, but thats good for maybe 2 tenths at the other end...

I dropped the spare -66lbs, and the tire combo -100lbs, and I'll drop the tailgate prob., so I'm looking at -200lbs.

With good traction, all that adds up to *maybe* a 13.0, but I highly doubt it...

Maybe the slightly better gear ratio with the 28" OD will help...

*ps* no skinnies for me. too much trouble...

Break stall to 1200rpm roll out at the green for first 10-20 feet then mat that sucker.

I think a 12 is possible.

Light wieght wheel = more rwhp put down.

Think + not - ken.

Now we are talking. That should cure the no traction action. Ya think they could make those white letters a bit bigger

Lol... i hate to make your wife mad, but when my truck was in full stock trim, I could hammer down off of the stock goodyears and not spin at all. 1100-1200 was my max rpm...

next week there is some kind of pro event at HRP and the track will supposedly be in stellar condition this weekend...

wish me luck...

btw, those slicks and tires are so light, you can pick them up with one finger... 9.5lb rims, 22lb tires...

Ken, try dynoing with those I bet even your rwhp picks up too.

I heard of the Houston track, "hooks like a Ho' on payday".

Can you take a video and post it later??? That would be awesome!
Function here is what we want but I still don't know why these tires still look as ugly as the old 60s ones. I wouldn't drive my truck with those white letters to the outside, but that's just me. I think slicks manufacturers should try to make prettier tires. But at the track everybody will only look at the time board
