Angry Bad Vendor

This is not bad mouthing it is just what happened to me to warn others.
I ordered a tonneua cover for my truck from stylin concepts.
I gave them the make the model the year and the dimensions of the bed.
They shipped the wrong one.
I tried to return it they said that the compant fibertecnics was going out of business and that they can't take the return. Iwould have to buy another cover before they could return the other one.
So I buy a ******* cover, I give them all the info again. This Cover was also 80 bucks more!
The cover gets here and was shipped to the auto body shop to exchange it with the other one. The auto-body shop goes ahead and paints it.
They try to mount it and it is the wrong size again.
I call up stylin concepts and explain to them what happened and they said that they will do nothing because it was painted.
Thanks Stylin Concepts for sticking me for an $800.00 Item.Just something for everyone to look out for.

Ouch! I bought my ******* and got it shipped directly to my home. The carrier dropped it and it came damaged. I just refused the shipment and back it went (after talking to *******). 3 weeks later I got it again in perfect condition. In this case Styling Concepts were the ones who screw up everything to begin with. But your body shop should have tried it first man. Sorry to hear that. Try calling ******* ((562-529-7543) and explain the misshap of their dealer and see if they can help. They were very helpful with me. Give it a try.

What style bed is this cover for? Will it fit a Lightning? If you end up having to sell me, give me an email at mizecca@bellsouth.net

Getting the money from the body shop is out of the question. It's my uncle's shop and he does 90% of my work for free (painted it for free). When it came in he measured the length to make sure it was the right one because last time they shipped a full size cover. He did not measure the width. That is where it doesn't fit. It must be for a standard short bed, not a style side. Well hd4mula I think I will give them a shot thanks for the number. I am not sure if they will be able to help because I bought it front a dealer not direct, worht a shot though. I am also going to put it in the classifieds. So if anyone knows anyone looking for one tell them to look it up. Thanks for the help.

how could it be the right lenght but not the right width? don't you have a 02? they only make one style of the 5.5" bed. or, now that i think of it, you probably do have a 00, cuz then the 6.5 bed length can come in flareside or styleside. duh

anyway, goodluck!
