My Dyno #s (REM MUSTANG Dyno)
OK, let's take it cool. No hard feelings HarleyScrew#713.
I think it is definitely true that Dynojets are more "popular" because there are more of those out there. In terms of accuracy I have to disagree on your generic statement. We will need a lot more info to really understand what we mean by accuracy on each system and how it is measured. I think both could be as accurate as possible if properly maintained.
What is important to most of us are comparisons. The most important comparison is your truck before a mod and after. Those we know should be done in the same dyno and if possible under similar circumstances.
We also like to compare with other trucks for braggin rights (Oh mine does 2 more HP than yours!). That's is ok in general terms. But we know that these numbers are affected by many factors and in my own opinion a 1-10 HP difference could be statistically meaningless. So what we want is a set of numbers from different trucks with the same mods so we can take a mean so we can see if our truck is doing ok. So if another person here logs on and have a 6# pulley and a Diablo and dyno his truck in a Mustang dyno then he will know what to expect. If he use the Dynojet then he uses that set of numbers. Which is better? The one YOU use and need

looks like there will be quite a few opportunities to run in the near future! retread71 was my previous screen name, i had some problems with my e-mail/computer and finally just had to change my screen name and use my home computer to post, sorry for the confusion. Preaux is how my Cajun wife spells "pro". there is another stock 2002 here in Midland, he's one of my bro's but thinks i'm crazy for doin all this stuff to my truck. anyway let us know when you are planning to dyno your coupe, that would be a good place to meet. i dynoed my truck at Racer's edge too, sounds kinda like the place where i get my parts but like you said spelled different. those guys are all-right and i feel my money was well spent.
