More Shackle questions

A local custom parts shop I went to about lowering shackles told me they do not sell Belltech. Thje brand they sell is DJM. They use urethane bushings, come with a 2-4 deg. shim kit, and are $30mat. or $70 including install. The salesman told me all good stories about the brand (but obviously he would sell any if he told people they were crap) But I want to know if anyone on here heard of DJM and know anything about there quality. Thanks everyone.

I wouldn't worry much - there ain't much to it. Any drop shackle is going to be OK. You can even use one for a Chevy - they are the same. And yes that is a great price. It's about $100 to have shackles installed near me.

$70 installed is a good price since online the BellTechs are about $50. For $20 you can have someone else do the labor.

Go for it!!

Like the previous posters said, there really is no difference when it comes to shackles.

Thanks guys. I set up an appointment for next weekend. I just wanted to make sure there were no horror stories about DJM, because I never heard of them and thought the price was to good to be true.

It is in Shrewsbury. It use to be Boomers McCloud but I think the name now is Auto Tech or something like that. I actually decided to do it myself because I want it down for next weekend But I still have to go there to pick them up, I will check the exact name then.
