Air Filter Cartridge

Bill P where did you order the K&N drop in cartridge from?

I went by the dealership last night to pick up an OEM and I noticed that they're different. The rubber around the top is black instead of the orange that my original was....also, the pleats ran long way in the original filter and in this one they run cross ways....and the filter material is different color and appears to be different material. Anybody else noticed this? I plan on calling down to the dealership today to ask about this.

Here's the online sellers page from the K & N website:

http://www.knfilters.com/online.htm

I ordered mine from Off Road Warehouse believe it or not. They had it in stock and were the cheapest.

As I recall, I paid about $36 including shipping and also bought the recharge kit for cleaning the filter. I think it was about $10.

Total price was less than what my local parts store wanted for just the filter.

Summit has it for $37.99 PN# KNN-33-2140-1 (33-2140) Then you have to pay shipping. I waited until I had enough stuff together to make a good order. Then shipping didn't feel so bad.
