I certainly will, but I am asking these questions here so when I talk to dealer I know what I am talking about.

Thanks again!

Frank, good to hear you got to drive the truck. I know you were probably suffering from withdrawls. Did you say you have the truck up here now? I would like to see your mods and maybe go for a ride.

I don't have it up here now, I drove the R/T back. I am thinking of bringing it back next month. I posted on another forum a little race I had with a new Ram 2X4 1500 Hemi quad cab when I was back in Phoenix. I totally destroyed it, it wasn't even close. By 70 mph I could not even guess how many truck lenths I had on him. He was cool about it, but I couldn't resist asking him," does that thing got a Hemi in it?". I will let you know when I have it up here, I may decide to bring it back earlier than next month.
Later, Frank.

My truck was built in early February. I only have exhaust and a K&N. I am kind of paranoid about this problem. I have been thinking about taking it to the nerest SVT dealer next week and seeing if I can get the motor replaced. what do you guys think should I even attempt it? are there any owners on here that have already had it done?I have an 02 Lightning with 24,000 miles on it. I dont want to end up broke down on the side of the road some where.

I don't see how the build date of the truck would make the rods any weaker. There should be some more info maybe it is the date of the motors???? if so is it the same time Feb-May because then it would be later # trucks probably some 2003's also
so could someone please find out motors/trucks........

thanks
Slick
