Ken800 Times...

Ken, I am at home now, and my best slip is at work but I will post times from a little slower-one to hold you over till tommorrow.

This was ran the same day but traction was not as good on this run.

60- 2.060
330- 5.646
1/8- 8.626
MPH 82.39
1000- 11.232
1/4 - 13.418
MPH- 102.44

Mods are 8lb lower JLP chip (program I dont know, but its old I was one of the first I think). Airbox mod,TR6 plugs gapped at 39
and Mobil One all around. Some-type of coolent in my intercooler that was expensive. Also my back leafs were clamped for traction.
And 93 octane.

You see I dont have alot of mods but I try to pick the right ones.

Also have a 02 vette A4 with stall, cold-air and LS1 edit that runs 12.teens all day. I wish we had a ls1 edit type program for our trucks. I love tuning now.

that's right in line with my 13.40. My MPH was 102.5 so I guess the difference really is just the 2 additional pounds of boost...

I have run as low as a 1.92 60' on the stock goodyears, and I had hoped that kind of traction would get me in the 13.3x category, but I was about 6/100ths off. Oh well. Maybe next time.

Thanks for the numbers... Look forward to the others tomorrow.

Ken

Two questions here. I understand why the leafs were clamped. I'm curious how they were clamped? Pics would be nice.
Where do you get 93 octane at ? I have been wondering where to get the best pump gas from...

Thanks Soap.

In the Dallas area you can get 93 octane gas at most of the major chains and even 7-11. I stick to the big 3 or is it 2 now ?

In DFW you can also get 100 at the pump station. The Exxon by my house has 100 at the pump.

There is a Exxon in Anna, TX. Just north of Dallas, about 20 miles out Plano. They have all types of gas. It is about $5 a gallon if I remember right. I am going to start buying gas there before I go to the track. I haven't got any yet because it is to cold to go to the track right now. Maybe this spring. It maybe to far for you, because I think you like to go to Redline Raceway. I go to Denton Raceway so its not that far for me to drive.
