I just wanted to know if anyone was going to go the show in San Jose this week or weekend. I just went to the SF auto show, saw some pretty cool stuff, also wanted to pick up some of this aluminium polish that makes aluminium look like chrome! Shines it up pretty good.

Did anyone see that booth at the SF auto show? It was back by the Lincoln display in the back corner of the Convention Center. These guys were taking the bottom of a soda (pop) can and shining the dull aluminium to a mirror-like finish, pretty cool in my mind.

Don't think it is much different than the Auto show they have in SF in November. Really not much to see. Most of the new car dealers do not display anything cool and usually very few, if any, concept cars. The Grand Nationals (aka Oakland Roadster show) is a hot rod show which, I think, is more appealing to us BAHDFOG guys.

Besides, don't count on me to plan and coordinate all the events. I need input from all you BAHDFOG dudes to send me emails with ideas.

BTW, anyone find out exactly when the Grand Nationals (aka Oakland Roadster show) is??

 

Not sure if I can make it....I'll have to wing it, too. Hope I can, I have friends all over the bay that I ride with.

I'm curious too, as to why it wasn't mentioned before this. Anything else coming up soon?

 

No I cannot remember the name of the stuff. It was pretty awesome though. I would have bought it the first time but my future father-in-law had ants in his pants and took off so we had to track him down before he lost us. Oh well hope to get my hands on some of that stuff, I will let you guys know the results.

I heard on the radio this morning that the Grand National Roadster show is Jan 17-20 in San Mateo.

I am there, my girlfriend lives in San Mateo. I am there all the time. I would have the same problem with work on Saturday, though. I probably couldn't get there until 4
