Q: What series of AutoMeter boost gauge?
Looking at purchase of a boost guage. Seen plenty of pics of the lunar series, but not too many of the ultra-lite series.
I'm looking for opinions on which series best matches look of the stock gauges in both day and night. From the pics I've seen, the ultra-lite looks like it matches the best in daylight... (does it have a light for night operation?)
Also, any idea why Jegs would have the Lunar for $80 and the ultra-lite for only $51?
Thanks for the replies... D glassman

Ultra-lite is pretty close to stock gauges. Use the green filter for the backlight, looks great at night. I'll try to get some decent pictures of it at night.
As for the price, it may have something to do with electronic or mechanical gauge.
I believe the electronic gauges are more expensive compared with the mechanical. My Ultra-lite gauge is mechanical and costed me $53 at a local performance shop.

Ultra Lite has silver face which match the stock one very nice. Lunar gages are more expensive because they use a different technology for the backlight. I was going to use those but I prefer the silver face over the extra green glow. The UL boost gage has a greenish look. For some reason the A/F gage doesn't have any backlighting
