a couple of bassani photos...
Thanks, Chester... Good luck on that refund. I am still trying to get a recording. I am going to the track sunday and will get some recordings running it down the track and maybe a vid revving it at a stop. Madhouse over at Halo will hopefully hook me up with a place to host the vid...

Ken, the exhaust looks good. I would like to hear it too.
Do you know if it is offered in a stock exit configuration? I understand why you want, and like the exit before the tire. If I do change my exhaust, I would like to keep the stock look though...

Mailed you, Chester....
As for the config, you guys know I did it to try to keep them a little cleaner and keep peeled rubber off when I burn out at the track...
I was actually disappointed in the Bassani for one reason: It DOES NOT come with an X-Pipe like the L setup does. It comes with 2 pieces of pipe with slight s bends in them, the muffler, and two tailpipes. The X pipe would have been possible, but it would have required that the X be very custom in that it would have a s bends going in and out, with the exit offset to the left or right by about 3 inches. I guess bassani didn't want to make a custom X just for the HD... I am disappointed since I feel like there is very little, if any, horsepower to be gained from a cat back and I believe that gain comes from an X or H put inline before the muffler...
However, the sound is just downright evil. I know that folks say that their bassani's get louder after a couple of weeks, but I would swear that mine has actually gotten a little quieter.
If anyone else has one and it has been on for a while, did yours change at all in tone over time?

The Bassani kit and the red bars you are seeing came from LFP. Bassani kits are in stock and we have been shipping since Christmas Eve. More red bars with our exclusive heavy duty hardware kits will back in stock in about 1 week.
I believe Ken also has one of our deluxe electric fans installed. Installation to the Houston area HD is available.

I got the Bassani exhaust and I love it. When I got mine about 5 months ago it came with a x-pipe and I installed it on the truck. I did all of the install myself, and had the muffler shop do the welding for me.
