Talking How fast will I be?

I'm bored and will ask this question.....

On July 4th I will have enough money saved up(hopefully) to do some mods. Just wondering what I can expect from these.
Electric fan combo
4# lower pulley
JL Ram air intake
REM Smooth intake tube(more for looks)
Diablo delta chip or Auto logic 4 way
Throtle body(maybe)

I also plan on adding a Ford deep racing pan and a factorytech valve body. Also flirting with traction bars.

So....... You guys got any ideas?

13.8ish depending on traction and weather. Shallow stage so you get the best possible running start...

What are your altitude, humidity, temps, and track conditions like?

Maybe 14.1 or so if they aren't so good...

I race at Cecil. They say most of the best times come from there. I ran a 14.409 at the end of the season, full weight. I aslo have a trailer hitch and a 120lb subwoofer and enclouser. I was hoping to be LOW 13's. How can I get there?

I'd say you have enough there to pickup a good .8 or more in the 1/4 depending on conditions. Obviously increasing the pulley size will get your farther and require different spark plugs if you haven't changed them yet. You could also go with some NAAAAWWWSSSS... hehe...

Naaaaawss, LOL

I think I would go with a built engine and a KB before NOS. After hearing some bad experiences from the guys I go to the track with i'm hesitant.

What about a ported polished intake plenum(spelling suxs)

I still want my truck to be a daily driver. Plus it only has to hold me out until I get my Lightning.

Oh, did I forget to mention that?LOL

I went the other way.. Had a 2001 L and now have a 2002 HD...

Anything other then bolt-ons will smoke your resale value. You'll be in a much smaller resell market.. If you mindset is to trade this for a L, stick to the bolt-ons.

I have all of my REPO buddies on the look out for a 1999+ L You would be amazed at what those guys find. Then after I find it, it will be a few years before it's finished. I've got some slick ideas.lol

if you wanna go 13.0 or 12.9 in july in the middle of summer i think you need an 8lb lower, a very agressive tune on your chip, 4:10 gears, full exhaust, throttle body, ram air. that's just in my opinion.

i have all these except the headers and the ram air and the 4:10's and i'm getting 13.4ish

Damn.. You are lucky .. Ah.. To be single again...

Luckily the wife supports most of my hobbies, but having a L, HD, and building a new house wouldn't float on the smart budget test.

I have a 6lb lower, ported stock TB and Plenum, traction bars, intake, valve body and chips of various tunes.

My best time with the above mods was around 55 degrees -- can't remember exactly, with 1/2 tank of gas and not enough cool down time.

It was a 13.4 @ 102.5 with a 60' of 1.94 on the stock goodyears...

I think with an 1/8th of a tank with some cool down time and a couple more bolt ons, I *might* be able to get down around a 13.1 or so. When the slicks get here, maybe a 12.8 or 12.9 since I will be able to drop the spare, bed and that, combined with the weight savings of the slicks, I will have dropped about 220 lbs...

Ken

*edit* I am going to work on the tune some more using dyno numbers to try to squeak some power there as well.
