PSP chips for HD soon

Sal said tonight that he will have the software for the 2002 HD chips in about a week. They should be available soon after. It will be great to have another option in the HD world.

Aw..... C'mon Josh. You need exhaust and a chip for your truck too. I'm sure they will have access to "other" programs.

don't have the money for a full exhaust or 4 program flip chip though. LOL

i'll be getting a magnaflow muffler soon though, and then a superchip from another member on here hopefully.
i won't be going with any custom tune though. big difference in price. i emailed JDM just to see what a reburn would be and it was like 170, then i emailed mike troyer and asked him what it would be to get that superchip reburnt with a standard program for my engine and he said like 75.

thats a hundred bucks for other mods not gonna mod the engine too much on my truck since it doesn't have a s/c anyway, but if it did then i definately would be modding more performance stuff than appearance

Let me know when you do the exhaust. If you want to come down and put it on the lift.(instead of crawling around)

thanks, but i wasn't planning on doing the exhaust myself anyway. isn't the stocker welded on there? plus the magnaflow is alot shorter (14" ) so there would have to be an added piece welded on to take up the extra length. unless you can do that type of work?

I'm not sure I want to do a chip and risk warranty issues, especially since I bought an extended warranty. My worry is I do mild mods like I'm thinking and something non-mod related breaks. Ford finds evidence of the mods and voids the warranty. Sure I might be in the right, but the legal fight would suck.

Well Josh,

I can't be that hard. I've changed the exhaust on a 2000 Dodge ext cab, Cummins diesel. The kit was a 4" exhaust from the turbo back. I have torches and a welder here. I have about all the air tools we would ever need. Also a guy I know owns mienike up the street.LOL But is it worth the drive to save a couple bucks?

probably not. i think somebody else here posted that they got the exact muffler i'm getting and it was like 30 bucks to get it installed. LoL
too bad you aren't closer though. that lift would come in handy when i do my "spring cleaning" on the bottom side of the truck

Can somebody (Josh?) tell me what a "PSP" chip is and how that differs from a superchip or a diablo? Thanks guys.
