Unhappy HELP NEEDED My Transmission is broken

When my HD 2002 was shipped, and lifted to get into the cargo area the pallet of the lift broke my tansmission and there is a big hole and the fluid is dripping. No insurance can pay me.
Looking for a solution ?? What kind of transmission is it, or is it then same as a Base F150
What can I do, order a rebuild transmission or a new one??? From who, I am partially living in Miami.
Very disappointed.
Thanks in advance for any ideas
Edgar

The transmission that we have is a 4r100. It's the same as the lightning. If your pan is the only thing that got damaged, check out our supporting vendors section. Those guys have the FORD racing pans for a resonable price.

yup, crockett said it, its the 4R100 heavy duty tranny that comes in the Lightnings and the 4x4 trucks. definatly not the regular F150 tranny.
maybe pickup a Factory Tech Valve body from one of the tuners while you have the tranny apart if you are planning on modding?

well welcome to the site and congrats on the HD you probably have the only HD in El Salvador

post pics and build# and color when you get a chance, and join the HD registry

The pan is Ford Part number F81Z-7A194-BA, get a new filter for the deeper pan at AutoZone, part number Deutch TF-325, same as the factory part but much cheaper. And if the actual tranny is broken, I have one for sale on E-bay right now (another day)

Hope this helps,

Dear Crockett59
Thanks for your input, what is the difference between the Ford racing pan and the original one??

Thanks G
Your parts numbers are of great help when I get to the dealership, and also, Some ***hole stole my HD Decals in the shipyard and almost stoles one wheel. What a pity.
I am gonna have to order them if I can find where??
