#356 is right. I have seen them on E-bay. I think about $1400. Nobody said mods are cheap.

You could probably pick up a set from RobG. You can find him in the Lightning forums.

Is rob selling his rims to the HD? i wasn't sure if he would or not. i know he's got a set of brand new 20" boyds for sale that he bought for his L he had on order before he switched to the HD, so i just assumed he was keeping the stock rims.

anyway, just becareful if you get replica rims like listed on that site. their quality usually isn't as good as the stock ones

thats exactly what i was thinking, plus when he said "ever see a supercrew with a rollcage" the weight issue came to mind, but who know's. he might keep them, and do like on the hooters mobile and run slicks and skinnies.
ya out there rob? can ya shed any light on this? we're dieing to know what you're up to

here's a quote of NLOC which is getting me thinking maybe he's not selling the stock rims, i'm sure you've seen it though. although he could just be getting different rims to match the HD better

There could be a brand new set of 20" Boyd's up for sale though

I think these are the ones Rob was getting.

nothing wrong with keeping the stock rims though, not like they are 17" steel sawblade rims. i haven't seen a rim i like better yet than the HD rim

Rob bought those wheels for the 03 Lightning. I don’t believe he is to sure about putting them on the HD.

yup, he explained it in that other thread. the thin spokes might look too wimpy on a big screw. so it looks like he will be getting diffferent rims. be interesting to see what he chooses for it. i can bet ya though it'll be some boyd's
