I open Christmas presents yesterday, and what do I see? A WHOLE box of Zaino!!! You name it, it was there! I have to get some Z-1, but elsewise, the entire product line: Z-2, Z-5, Spray finisher, shampoo, leather conditioner, glass polish, plastic polish, applicators, and 3 claybars.

I told her my hawg doesn't need to be clayed, but that idea was tossed out the window....this definitely looks like a six pack job!

anyway, did you get any z16 tire shine? that stuff is awsome. no sling off, no turning brown or attracting dirt, lasts a pretty long time, and one coat for low gloss,, 2 for high gloss. I've tried dozens of tire shines and this is hands down the best yet

just curious, why do you say your truck doesn't need to be claybared?

anyway, maybe instead of getting the z1, pick up the zfx. its not that much more, and should last for 16 oz of polish (so 2 bottles of either z5 or z2) and then you can apply 3 coats in a day, and there's no down time. by the time you finish applying, its ready to be buffed off.

just remember to lightly wet the applicator pad with water then z16 before you start cuz it spreads the zaino out more and less gets wasted by being absorbed into the applicator pad, and go up and down on the vertical surfaces, and front to back on the top surfaces. happy zainoing and merry christmas! Yep, got the tire shine, too. I was speaking about my FLHR, which has the new paint job on it. I thought the Zaino was for my bike but guess again!! You think the zfx is better, huh? That's what we'll do. I have that barn the truck lives in, so I can see my days being busy, once she gets her 'vette back from the body shop (topic for another post!!

well i haven't tried the z1, but i got the zfx instead mainly for the fact that i wouldn't have to wait hours for it to dry, especially in the humidity we can get around here in the summer, and since i don't have a garage, i'm sure my truck would get covered in stuff and stick to the polish and i wouldn't like buffing the truck knowing i'm rubbing that dirt in and all. but even with a garage, i'd still have gotten teh zfx anyway cuz you can do 3 coats in a 24 hour period, and it dries really fast. but be prepared to be suprised when you see how much you payed for that tiny little bottle. i thought they forgot to send it to me and they sent me a free half filled bottle of liquid breath mints instead. LoL! thats how tiny it is. but i was suprised how long its lasted me.

an ounce of polish does my whole truck, and the one bottle of zfx will last me close to 2 bottle of polish. i use the z5 for all my base coats cuz the z5 is the best for black, regardless of swirls, and i use z2 as my final topcoat and all my chrome. so 2 coats of z5 and a coat of z2 and all the chrome with z2 when i do the truck, so i go through both polishes at basically teh same rate.

next time i reorder though, i'll probably get some z1 cuz some guys say the z1 gives it a SLIGHTLY better deeper shine or whatever when used with the zfx, so i figure i'll give it a shot, but i'm still gonna use zfx

 

From what I've read the ZFX is the way to go especially in colder climates. I personally did not use it but then when I did it it was like 80 degrees out.

Yeah then if you wan to do more than one coat it turns into a 30 rack job.

Well, in digging thru the Christmas wrappings i found a small box with 4 empty 2 oz bottles and a itty bitty teeny tiny itsy bitsy blue bottle of...ZFX.

well wait philly, it gets worse.....its not 8.95, its 19.95

its worth it though. makes everything go so much quicker and easier

lol, i even have a pic of the bottle. its in that box on the chair in a tiny bottle in the blue 2oz bottle. the zoomed up version is at the top right. thats about the actual size of the bottle in person. 20 bucks for 2 ml of blue stuff. LoL!
