Question 10 in downfire from subbox.net

http://www.subbox.net/store/product39.html

Does anyone know if this type of box still allows for the seat to fold all the way down? I've noticed that when i fold my seat, the room underneath isnt decreased by a whole lot, but id like to know for sure before i get this.

thanks in advance

J

Nope, I'm pretty sure you won't be able to fold it down...if it's like the one for my supercrew I bought from there, you can't fold the seat down.

Does match pretty darn nicely though. Just when you run the wireing for the sub, give yourself a little extra wire, so that you can slide it out, and disconnect it when you need to fold it down.

DO NOT GET THIS BOX!

There is nothing wrong with the box, it's a very good one since I have one from my old 2001 XLT Screw. And it sounds awesome with my Alpine MRD-300 and Alumapro Alchemy 10"!

The Harleys have bucket seats versus the 60/40 split bench seat of a regular Screw. It worked well for me on my old truck but it will NOT fit the Harleys.

If you need to see one in person, let me know. I still have mine, and it is just laying between the front passenger seat and rear passenger seat. This is just temporary till I could make my own box like HD4mula.

Notice the differences in the interior, that's my old truck with the box under the rear driver seat. It will fold, but not all the way flat, just enough to access the storage compartments at the back.

The box will not fit the HD if I remeber right. Friend with 2002 was trying to put those boxes under both rear buckets but they were to wide id I remeber.

Ended up making his own which is usually the best way to go.
