Post SAND DUNES April 14th

Anyone interested? A bunch of us will be going to the 3rd annual April Silver Lake Sand Dune trip. Lots of sand and fun. This is the first chance of the year to test your new mods or trucks. No experience is necessary, we will provide it... The sand is soft so you stand a good chance of returning home with all your wheels. More details to follow as we get closer to the date.

Regards

Jean Marc Chartier

Sounds like alot of fun. Pretty much count me in. I'm hoping I'll get to meet a few of you as well if we get the Sandusky Ohio meet together. I wanted to dune last year, but lost my 4 wheel drive then

rockycarl,

Sliver Lake, Michigan is the actual town but Map Quest won't find it. Try Mears, Michigan. Silver Lake is 2 miles west of Mears. You are looking at about 375 miles from Cleveland. Hope to see you there.

Hm. Took me long enough to check this thread. Must be the lithium I'm being prescribed. lol Anyhoo, the Jeep is an 97 Wrangler with 4" body and a 3" suspension lift. It's a nice ride and I always enjoy towing it out of sticky situations There maybe another Jeep coming too. That way they can try to tow each other without having to suck it up and ask us each time. I'm loking forward to this, as Cheney would say, big time.

Oh, I'm already set to put the dual antenna's back on! How is the lodging situation there? I'll need to book a room for the night. Where did you all stay last time? I'm actaully going to drive up on the 13th and stay that night as well.

I don't know that anyone will actually know about that. Most of the time we drive up there, and then drive home. Its about a 3 hour drive for me. I know there is a camp ground close by, and also a pretty big hotel. I have no idea about the hotel though. Your gunna have to figgure out the name of it, and then call them. C-ya soon!
