Give us some more info... what equipment do we need, what're we pulling, cost, location, etc... sounds interesting... I'm just curious how a stocker would do in a test of strength...

Hey Wingnut, this might be a good first chance to get some of us Ohio guys and our trucks to get together.

Hey guys,

The 2 pulls that I primarily go to are in Somerset Ohio and in Glenford Ohio. They are small (and I mean small) towns in Perry County (Southern Ohio). I would estimate that it would take you an hour from Columbus to get to either place.

They are usually every other Saturday in the summer. When I get an up-to-date schedule I'll be sure to post it.

The pull in April is an indoor pull and it is in New Lexington (another small town).

It's anywhere from $15-$25 to enter and the payout is usually a % of the entrants. I pulled 2 weeks ago and got second place. I paid $25 to get in but I won $75. So, don't expect to win thousands of dollars. It's just for fun and to see who has the biggest nads!

The stock class is 5200lbs, so you may want to find a place to weigh your truck because you may have to remove some things. When I pulled my 01 Screw, I had to remove my bed extender, spare tire, tailgate and rear seats just to make it into the class.

You don't need any tools, just a hitch. My buddies and I will have the rest.

It's a great time and we usually make a day of it...grill out, adult beverages etc.

You will see lots of cool trucks and I'm sure after one run down the track you will be hooked (no pun intended).
