Any OH organization?
Is there any type of group or club in OH? Any one interested in starting one? It seems like our fair state is being left out of the reindeer games.

You know, I have been thinking about this lately. I can count at least 5 people from Ohio who post, and I think it would be cool to at least have a rally, say in the columbus area. Heck, I'm sure that some people would even come from Michigan.
So, how about it people? Anybody want to do this? Selva, you got any good ideas as to where to meet?

Sounds good with me since I live 30 mins from Columbus
We probably should find some even to tie it in with. I'll check out National Trails, maybe some drags or NHRA events going on. I know Columbus does a big Cruise In on the Riverfront each summer. Maybe a possibility?

I'm new to the list, but I would ove to participate in some kind of get together. There doesn't seem to be a whole lot going on in Ohio. Post the date if you guys come upwith anything.

Both ideas sound great. Who says we can't do both? I've heard about the Plain City show and it's supposed to be impressive, and National Trails is always a blast. I grew up in Reynoldsburg and was used to having the town taken over during Spring Nationals. I'm at work but looking into some other options. Aren't I a good employee?

Sounds like a great idea to me! I'm at work, so I don't have detailed info with me, but there are a few events going on in Columbus from time to time, as well as a few organized Ford clubs. One of them has an annual all Ford show in Plain City, just Northwest of town. It's supposed to be on June 27th, but subject to sponsorship, permits, etc. If it's going on, that would be perfect. Also, every Labor Day weekend, National Trails Raceway in Kirkersville (20 miles +/- East of town) has a combination car show, swap meet, and bracket racing event. Amazingly, there is always a bunch of old Ford 427 Thunderbolts trailered in to race. If you haven't seen or heard an uncorked Ford 427 rip through the quarter, you're really missing out. I'll post back later when I get some more detailed info on the show in June......
