Hey guys, Just picked up a auto trader and anyone hear of the Hare Run (2 nd annual) it in Hare TX..Direction are from Round Rock..thats close to Austin isnt it..? If it is how bout a run up there from our Austin Rally...ad says street rods, hot rods, muscle cars and restored..hummmmm
Also noticed a best pickup contest-but you have to be entered...i thought maybe we could all fill up at a gas station and head out there if its not to far..i thought if we had to drive 20-30 miles we would still have a good time and be back for Whataburger..or parking lot or cruise......Just a thought..6 days to go....

That sounds like a good idea to me. Im game for whatever. It looks like im gonna come down on saturday morning and stay all day and drive back to waco probably sometime in the wee hours of the morning. I still would like to see some 4 wheel action though See yall next saturday. Oh i tried to look for mumbly and the gang at fun ford but i didnt have any luck Oh well i guess i will have to wait. Oh and man those funny cars were FAST(6.3 @ 216 mph) and LOUD. Oh well yall take it easy and i will see everybody next weekend!

Sorry you're havin problems Dave, I am too. My winch mounting plate was supposed to be here last week, but it's not here yet. Can't mount the winch without it, and I was wanting to have it on there in time for the rally. Oh well, still got 3 days left. Miracles can happen, I just gotta be patient, but it is hard. Maybe I can pull it off, we shall see.

It looks like the BIG question is what to do Friday night. I've done a little brain storming.
If you like one of these ideas, or have another one, speak up.
These are in absolutely no order. Burnett Rd., there is the Sonic, Supper Shop,
Reighning Performance, Top Notch (drive in). I don't know how popular any of these
places are with cruisers now. We could go to a restaurant, Baby A's, any of the places
on Barton Spgs., somewhere at lake Travis. We could find a secluded place to hang
out. Moon tower at Zilker park, Mt Benell <sp?>, Lake Travis, Lake Austin, Barton
Spgs. Mall. 6th St.
That's all I can think of right now. What are your thoughts or other Ideas?
