Question ANOTHER interview with Nissan!

This is the fourth time I've been called back. This is a very
particular company. I feel like I'm trying to get a job with
the frickin' Secret Service. Background checks, drug tests,
aptitude tests....Jeez! I hope all this is worth it.

And you still want to work for them ? Sure you're not becoming a 'made' man?

They...

seem like an exciting company to work for and have a
very family-like atmosphere. Not to mention the raise in
pay I would be gettin.

Just for reference:

I have a friend who's son was recruited by the CIA. They wanted him, it wasn't like he applied. It took six interviews and 18 months before he was an employee.

I would give it up in a heartbeat.

Those summers off are a myth. Sure, we are off, but I live
only a few blocks from the school and end up preparing
stuff for the next year. If I'm not working at the school, I'm
working as a carpenter/painter/fencebuilder/roofer. Many
hats my friend, many hats.....

I see where they are coming from.

Automakers pay quite a bit, not including A plan discounts.

They want to make sure they have a hard AND smart worker that will earn the pay.

So dont take it as a slight. The more interviews you have, the higher up the short list you are.

Are they interviewing you for the CEO position?

Good luck, sounds like a good place to work. If you don't mind my asking what would you be doing their managemant?

I don't know what he'll be doing but hopefully he is a designer/engineer and will design better looking Nissans. Then again, nix that idea. Ugly Nissans means more sales for Ford.
