Congradulations! I know he's been through a lot! Give him a glass of fresh oil, now.

Geez, my new truck is about 16 or so. Sad thing is that it currently runs as good or better than that POS red thing I drive.

Shorter list would be whats NOT wrong with it. Hmm lets see.......
2 front hub assemblies
New wheel studs in the rear (pulling the axle was fuuuun )
2 fan clutchs
water pump
starter
4 alternators
Pings like mad unless I run premium fuel now
Rebuilt tranny

The fan clutchs and the alternators are courtesy of Orilley Auto parts. Their quality is pretty bad, but they offered a lifetime warranty when I bought those 2 things (wish I woulda known how good their quality was then) so I've just kept replacing them. And they wonder why I don't ever buy anything else from them now

Sorry to hear about all the trouble Powerstroke73. Four alternators, two hud assemblies, and fan clutches, that is alot of maintenance done to a 5 and a half year old truck! Hope things work out for you.

Mine is only a year and 3/4 old

6 years I don't think I have ever owned a truck that long.
