DAMMIT i got pulled over AGAIN!!!

ok i posted a thred last week on why i got pulled over because of the supposed illegal taillights on my ol 53 cheby. WEll this weekend about 1/2 mile from that, i was pullin out of sonic and i had 8 people in my ford and everyone was like "come on pat you never spin the tires, let em rip!" what else was i supposed to do? So i went tearin outta there sideways, as soon asi straighhten up, the girl in the backseat says You better stop that or youre gona get pulled over. I said pshh whatever. Then i see the cherries! I had a couple nice words to say then! turns out he lets me go cause hes a new cop in town and he wants to give everyone a "first chance". So as hes walking away my girlfriend, whos right beside me, looks over and says "you are so lucky!" The cop proceeds to turn around and walk back to my window and says; "Son, your very lucky." I proceeded to drive off. Now thats 13 or 14 times , hell its one of the two, being pulled over and STILL only "1" warning. Can ya beat that?

I won't put you to sleep discussing the risks of driving like an idiot with 6,000 passengers in your truck, but I will say that a few tickets will turn your current insurance premium payments into a pleasant memory.

when he said you're very lucky he wasn't kidding! down here the fine is HUGE for doing burnouts, they write it up as destruction of public property and in extreme cases you can even get points on your liscence

one thing i never do is drive fast with people in my truck, but i didnt see what screechin the tires and gettin a little sideways would hurt. I barely broke 25 mph. i never do anything that would endanger people, caues ive been in that situation ( riding shotgut in my buddies souped up 89 GT runnin 85 mph on the backroads in town tryin to lose a cop) I think ill calm down now:o
and drive like i should

Green_98: You are very lucky. My friend got pulled over for power braken with me in the truck. He got charged with wreckless driving and had to go to traffic court. The fine wasn't very bad though.

haha good one--
Ive played my share and ive sure as hell paid enough. I got caught doin donuts up at the shcool parkin lot last year and got suspended from drivin for a week. NEXT DAY, i drove to school and after school i drove down the wrong way on the 1 way street out front of the school and swerved over towards the shop teacher who had turned me in. The whole dam school saw it. They cheered and laughed as i sped off like a bad outta hell, throwin up snow and makin them pipes roar! Yea i got suspended form driving to school for 2 months for that...but the shop teacher never did direct traffic after that...hmmm
ahh high school. so much fun, but im only a freshman in college....

To Green98:

Green 98, to answer your previous question, no I am not a law enforcement officer.
If I can give you a little "old fart" advice, I will do so. In your many prevoius posts you have complained/bragged about all of your stops by the law. You have spoken about your beer drinking, reckless driving ( burning/peeling out) with eight people in your f150, (Not too many 98 f150's seat 8 - unless I am mistaken). All of this and yet I think you stated your are 19 or 20?
You are lucky but be careful- your luck ( and I hope not your passengers) may run out. I also wouldn't "tell the world" about all of your exploits, as there is quite a few people in all sorts of professions who read this site who never even register or log on.
It would not take too much expertise for someone to figure out who exactly you are, and decide to help your "luck run out" sooner than expected, before you hurt someone other than your self.
Don't get me wrong, this is in no way any threat or anything else -- all I am saying is don't tell of your "exploits" especially if they consist of illeagal behavior.
Be careful out there -- and remember a DWI is on your driving record for LIFE ! If you think your insurance rates are high as a teenage/underage driver -- you should see what happens to them if you have a DWI on your record
I'll get off of the soapbox now and stop preaching.

hey mark
thanks for you note above i did read it and understand exactly where youre coming from. I have only driven while under the influence of alcohol ONCE and that was almost 3 years ago. I drove approx. 1/4 of a mile and never went above 15 mph. I remember everything. NO ONE was with me. Dont get me wrong i dont drive wrecklessly wtih people with me. Yes i did last weekend thats becuase i never scratch out because my tires were 157 dollars each. They cheered me on cause i never do it, so i figured what the hay? I treat my truck with about the best care possible. Waxings wtih top name products done right, 3000 mile oil changes, etc... I never ever act stupid at high speeds-im too scared to do that. I just like romping on that V8 at lower speeds and hearing my pipes. I dont want anyone to think im a careless teenager who will end up killing himself along wtih 7 other people in a firey, high speed accident that you hear off way too often. I respect them and my truck, but peer pressure is sometimes a b_tch. Thanks again for the advice. My girlfriend lectured me sunday night on how i shouldnt do that and how i need to grow up a little. For once, it sank in. Thanks for the reinforcement.
-Patrick

ps i turn 19 next month

Patrick,

I definitely agree with Mark...the cops are sneaky SOBs (and in some cases jealous of young guys like us with nice trucks) and can and will do anything they want to get you once they have it in for you. They dont even have to catch you in the act to give you a ticket, or be on duty. I never got caught speeding by the local cops, but one day i was revving it up cuz my buddy was behind me, and i pulled out of school sideways...what i didnt know was that the guy passing by on a motorcycle was a sergeant (off duty of couse) on the local police! Imagine my surprise when the operating to endanger ticket came in the mail. Can they do that? I guess so! my point is that if the cops want to "make your luck run out", they will, even if you are good enough to not get caught by the cars with the bubble gum machines on top.

I don't know about cops being sneaky, but I'm sure some type of subconscious profiling occurs in the mind of a cop while on patrol. Let's say you have a duty to enforce traffic laws. Who will you watch more closely, a 19 year-old driving a riced-up metallic orange Civic with a 5-inch diameter exhaust pipe, or a 50 year-old woman driving a late-model Buick LeSabre?

If you wave a red cape, don't be surprised if the bull gives you a sore a$$.

Exhibition of speed, 3 points, and a moving violation ($80 fine here)
